Shipping Options

Delivery Information

All orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Paris within 24–48 hours of order confirmation (excluding weekends and public holidays). You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped.

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 18:00. If you are not available, the carrier will attempt redelivery or leave the parcel at a designated collection point.

Tracking Your Order

Once shipped, you will receive an email with your DHL Express tracking number. You can also track your order directly from your account page.

Duties & Taxes

For deliveries within the European Union, all prices include VAT. For international orders outside the EU, customs duties and import taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Return Policy

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags attached.

How to Return

1. Log into your account and select the order you wish to return
2. Select the items and reason for return
3. Print the prepaid return label (free for EU orders)
4. Pack items securely in the original packaging
5. Drop off at your nearest DHL collection point

Refund Timeline

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned items. The refund will be credited to your original payment method.

Exchanges

For size exchanges, please return the original item and place a new order. This ensures the fastest processing time.

Non-Returnable Items

Swimwear, underwear, and personalised items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

How to Measure

Bust/Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal.

Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, the narrowest part of your torso.

Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 20cm below your waist.

Our garments have a relaxed, slightly oversized fit. If you prefer a closer fit, we recommend sizing down.

Our Materials

Every Plein Soleil garment is crafted from carefully selected fabrics chosen for their quality, comfort, and sustainability.

French Linen

Our signature linen is sourced from European flax fields. It is naturally breathable, thermoregulating, and becomes softer with every wash. Linen requires 80% less water than cotton to produce.

Organic Cotton

GOTS-certified organic cotton grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. Soft, durable, and gentle on skin.

Recycled Polyester

Used in select outerwear pieces, our recycled polyester is made from post-consumer plastic bottles, reducing landfill waste.

Care Instructions

Linen

Machine wash at 30°C on gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Hang dry or tumble dry on low. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp. Linen naturally creases — this is part of its character.

Cotton

Machine wash at 30–40°C. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Iron on medium heat if needed.

Knitwear

Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Reshape while damp and lay flat to dry. Do not hang — this can stretch the fibres.

Materials

85% of our fabrics are natural, organic, or recycled. We source European linen (which requires no irrigation), GOTS-certified organic cotton, and recycled polyester made from ocean plastics.

Production

We produce in limited runs to avoid overstock and waste. Our partner ateliers in India are certified by SA8000 for ethical working conditions. Workers earn above living wage and have access to healthcare.

Packaging

100% plastic-free. Our shipping boxes are made from recycled cardboard, tissue paper is FSC-certified, and garment bags are compostable. Return labels use soy-based ink.

Carbon Footprint

We offset 100% of shipping emissions through verified reforestation projects. Our goal is to achieve carbon neutrality across our full supply chain by 2027.

Circularity

We are developing a resale programme launching in 2026, allowing customers to return pre-loved Plein Soleil pieces for store credit.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all purchases made on pleinsoleil.shop. By placing an order, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Orders

Orders are confirmed upon receipt of payment. We reserve the right to refuse any order for legitimate reasons (suspected fraud, stock unavailability). An order confirmation email serves as proof of contract.

3. Prices

Prices are displayed in Euros and include all applicable taxes (VAT) for EU deliveries. Prices are subject to change without notice, but orders are charged at the price displayed at the time of purchase.

4. Payment

Payment is processed securely via our payment provider. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and PayPal. Your card is charged at the moment of order confirmation.

5. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Plein Soleil is not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs. Risk transfers to the buyer upon delivery.

6. Returns

In accordance with French consumer law (Article L221-18), you have 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal. Extended to 30 days as a commercial gesture. See our Returns page for details.

7. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris.

Data Collected

We collect: name, email, shipping address, payment information (processed by our secure payment provider — we do not store card numbers), browsing data, and order history.

Personal data is stored securely with encryption. We retain order data for the legally required period (5 years for accounting). You may request deletion of your account at any time.

Add a handwritten-style gift message at checkout. Your message will be printed on a premium card and placed inside the box.

Gift Receipts

Select "This is a gift" at checkout. The recipient will receive a packing slip without prices, and can use the order number for exchanges.
